I love this straightening iron!
I bought this straightening iron after seeing a demonstration at the mall. I had to have one. I purchased mine on Amazon for about 30% of what the mall was charging and I absolutely love it.Pros:I have very long (almost to my butt), very curly hair. It normally takes me 45 minutes to get it straight but with this iron I was able to do all of my hair in about 25 minutes. My usually frizzy curly hair was super straight and very silky and soft, no frizzies at all. Also, the iron gets very hot and gets hot quick, in about 2 minutes it is ready to use.Cons:If I had to pick one thing I don't like about it I would say the fact that it doesn't have an auto-off function. The first day I used it I forgot to turn it off so it was on at 440 degrees all day. Top to learn more

Great flat iron.
I purchased this product after the one I purchased at my local mall fell and the plates shattered. I was upset at first because they broke, but I had to remember they were all ceramic. I really loved the flat iron because it leaves your hair shiny and silky to the touch, but didn't have the money to pay the whopping $100.00 price.I am a penny pincher so I was really impressed with it to shell out that much money. When my daughter found it on Amazon I was kicking myself for not checking Amazon first. I have had this product for quite a while now and it is still working great. It is being shared by three people in my household, so it is used on a daily basis. I am also in a transitioning stage, going from relaxed to natural hair. I am African-American with thick coarse hard to straighten hair and this product straightens my hair great. I've purchased quite a few but this is the best....
I recommend this flat iron to ANYONE who wants to save money going to the shop. I'm an african american woman with german ancestry. My hair is fairly long and when it's wet it's curly and VERY soft and it's naturally sandy blonde (so it can get dry from time to time)- when I blow dry it, it gets fairly straight but with the flat iron I can curl AND straighten in 30min. Sometimes 20min - but the thing that gets me is I lay on my hair at night and the next day it's STILL nice!!!! - very bouncy and NO frizzies and no dryness - it leaves a nice sheen to my hair - all I do is spray a VERY VERY VERY light oil sheen to my hair to add a very nice sheen to it - EVERYONE thinks I go to the shop but I save about $110 a month - this is how I do my hair: * I wash with Dove shampoo (after trying NUMEROUS shampoos and conditioners this brand works PERFECT with my hair leaving it SO SOFT) * I condition with Dove shampoo and comb it thru with a big tooth comb and then rinse it out...

Great for straightening, and curls!
Hopefully you found this product here before you bought it in the mall!I walked by a kiosk where people were demonstrating this product and was very impressed. They let me use the straightener to prove they didn't have a "magic method", and it worked very well on my hair. I was unwilling to pay the $120 price tag, however!I quickly ran a search on the product and found it here for much less. It is worth it, especially if you are considering spending $40 on a lesser model in a store. The product is easy to use, and comes backed in a nice little drawstring bag for transport.Straighteners, oddly, can also be used to curl. If you place it in your hair as if you are straighting, turn it 1.25 turns towards your head, and pull straight out, a curl should pop out at the end (or at least with a little twist-prompting). I found it easy to do these curls with this product IF I take my time, and separate an even, not tangled strip. I can't do the quick...

Surprised!
I was really unsure about this product since I never heard of it and am so familiar with CHI. my CHI broke and I really didn't have the money to buy a brand new one.I saw this and looked up reviews on the item. All the negative reviews were about the people who sell them at kiosks at the mall. I never found a negative review on the actual product so I decided to buy it. Also my friend who's a cosmetology student recommended getting a titanium plate. I had a $25 gift card and spent $6.00 on this item so I figured why not?Now that I've been using it, I would definitley spend over a hundred dollars on this product. I LOVE IT!The first time I used it I was so amazed. I straightened my hair in only 20 minutes and it honestly looked like I came out of the salon.I let some friends use it also and they love it! I am a salon owner, I used this straightner for the first time today!! WOW ! My client said at home she has a hard time getting her naturally curly hair straight, with this tool, it was fast and very easy, I was exoecting go over her hair 2 or 3 times, 97% of her hair took one time! Love, Love, Love the Herstyler Classic Zebra Hair Straightener
I could not be happier with this product! The Solia straightener I was using previously broke, so I was looking for a replacement. I'm not a fan of the Chi, and when I came across this one I couldn't resist the fun zebra design, and low, low price! (I got mine for about $30). It heats up quickly and it NEVER snags my hair! The Herstyler is perfect for thick hair, but because it doesn't have a temperature control setting, I would not recommend it for thin hair. The best straightening iron!
I purchased my first herstyler flat iron in 2007. I have had it for 4 years now. It still works great, but started looking a little dated so I decided to purchase this one because it was such a low price considering how much I paid for my first one. I must say that I truly love this flat iron! It is better than any other flat irons that I have used in the past. It works great on any type of hair! Love my hair straightner
I absolutely love this straightner:* gets hot super fast* makes hair very straight in what stroke* fast and easy to use* love the bag it comes with so when I unplug it I can put it away w/o waiting for it to cool off.One thing I wish was that I could figure out how to use it to make curls. Good Product, but no warranty.
I like the product. The adjustable heat settings keep the straightener from getting too hot for my thin hair. My only point of concern is that the warranty only applies if bought from an authorized dealer. The seller here is not an authorized dealer, so there is no warranty.
